Wouldn't it be fantastic to see something like this as part of integrated transport systems in Northern Ireland? Imagine being able to leave your bike at the station overnight or for the weekend to cycle off the train to work, university, etc!

We at Naas Greenways have been advocating for this for many years. This will bring many visitors to the area. But more importantly allow children to use it to get to school or sports clubs on a car free Greenway along the canal. Great article.

Galway is one of the most unfriendly cycling cities. It is 5k by 9k mostly flat and all you see is cars cars cars. The place is a mess and building a ring road won't solve it. They did a bit of it before and it's a total shambles. Irish Cycling Campaign
