One unexamined point in the insulin rationing crisis is that often patients are acting in a *rational* way when rationing. Many patients have no food and no money. Taking insulin in such a situation may kill them #insulin4all

To be clear, not taking insulin may kill them as well. If you ask an endo what advice you'd give to a patient with no food I'd wager they say "get some food", but poverty doesn't work that way sometimes.
