Massage therapy is a recognized treatment for a whole range of occupational injuries, but worker’s compensation coverage is inconsistent.

This bill fixes that inconsistency & requires workers compensation carriers to cover massage therapy for injured workers.

Having a well-resourced DOL is crucial to enforcing the worker protections I’ve passed in the Senate.

We need to #FixTier6 & protect their funding with my Labor Enforcement Fund bill so they can focus on workforce development, worker protection, & a just climate transition.

I’m sorry to share that another child has been hit by a car on their way to school on Northern & Junction.

Thankfully the child survived, but we are days away from finalizing a budget that fails to pass Sammy’s Law or implement scramble crosswalks. This can’t continue.

The focus on retail worker safety is critical as Governor Kathy Hochul raised, but any solution without the Retail Worker Safety Act S8358/A8947 is incomplete. Our bill will give our members on the front lines the tools they need to try and keep themselves safe. #nysbudget #albany
