Thanks to the American- Italian Cancer Foundation for having the Mammogram Bus pull up to the 28th Precinct Yesterday. Many of our officers as well as residents benefited from this FREE breast cancer screening service.

Our Traffic Safety Team is the Best in the North! The Community asked and we delivered. We seized a good amount of unregistered scooters and mopeds within our precinct.

Yesterday, we participated in a Patrol Borough Manhattan North Graffiti Clean Up with our Bluechip Student Athletes! Awesome Job Guys.

Protect your vehicle. Don't leave your keys in the ignition to go to the deli or store. Vehicles left unattended with keys in the ignition are easily targeted by car thieves. Stay alert and be safe.

The 28th Precinct would like to share some tips for your Personal Safety. Always be aware of your surroundings and if bumped or jostled in a crowd, be aware that a pick pocket might be responsible. Please read over our safety tips provided.

After a Shots Fired Radio Run, a description was given. Our officers were able to observe the perpetrator fleeing the scene. After a quick pursuit, the defendant was apprehended safely and this firearm was recovered off the individual. Great Work Guys!

Our 28th Precinct Auxiliary Officers assisting by informing our community to drive safe and follow NYC traffic laws. We thank them for their time and service.

We are thankful for the continued partnership with Mamadou Drame and the entire Senegalese Association of America. Today, we had the pleasure of supplying them with a generous clothes donation for their members in need.
