One year ago today, we lost a pillar of our city. Well... More like a rickety, dingy bit of scaffolding. The oldest shed on city-owned property came down, and we turned a corner on Get Sheds Down. Rest in pieces, giant green eyesore.

When Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast 20 years ago, DOB sent a team of highly trained inspectors and engineers as part of a coordinated multi-agency response to assist with recovery efforts. Today we remember that when our fellow Americans need help, NYC answers the call 🇺🇸
