I directly asked the Western Trust more than a month ago if delays were down to the department insisting on business cases being resubmitted. I was told there were no issues. The FoI response proved it had to submit 7 iterations of strategic/outline business cases.

Part of the problem in Derry is that those tasked with delivering: be they politicians, higher education chiefs, health chiefs, school principals, business figures—at times excuse, cover for or remain silent about Stormont neglect of this city. Does it benefit Derry?

NW Ireland 2040 Derry Now Today’s recoloured photo c1930 shows the staff from the Star factory on Foyle Rd. It was built in by Daniel Conroy for the Bayer Company however unlike other Derry factories it was built using Donegal sandstone which give it a unique appearance.
