Today, we said goodbye to Pc Ben Thomas. He was a great officer, known for his supportive and caring manner. He adored his family and made such a difference up here. Taken too soon, and he will be sorely missed.

Some good work from the team yesterday Crime, Ops, NBT and patrol... a long shift by many to arrest, and later charge and remand a male for attempt robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in Barnstaple. Just inside the 24hrs in custody. Suspect due in court this morning. TD

A North Devon man was stopped on 12/12/24 near J27 of the M25. 3 kgs of suspected class A controlled drugs seized (cocaine/ heroin) believed bound for our streets. He has appeared at court today and has pleaded guilty to drugs offences. Our communities will be safer as a result.

19/02 pm- an incident in #bideford- male assaulting a female + during the incident, a Staffy dog attacked a passers-by dog, which sadly later died. Shortly after, we seized the dog, and a male was arrested for assault/ dog offences. He has been bailed pending further enquiries

Great to see so much money being raised for such a worthwhile cause. And yes....the officers were all volunteers on their days off! They were all remarkably well behaved!!

Out on foot patrol in #barnstaple with PCSO Grant (been here for ages!) and PCSO Cole (just started). Met up with the council street marshals as part of the walk around...amazing how many people know her (exactly as it should be!). What a difference the uniform presence makes.
