PhD researcher Halleluya Ekandjo Halleluya Ekandjo recently carried out fieldwork in Rosh Pinah, southern Namibia, with lecturer @koentorremans. Her research aims at better understanding the metals in the subsurface that are critical for our society iCRAG Centre #fieldworkfriday

Our 4th year students studying the faulted contact between the Sierra Cabrera and the Vera Basin, SE Spain. The 10-day field course to the Almeria area linking the metamorphic basement, volcanics and sedimentary basins to the wider tectonic evolution of the western Mediterranean

The last two days of the Society of Economic Geologists and Teck Resources funded fieldtrip were amazing. We visited #TaraMines and Dalradian looking at core and discussing amazing geology. Thanks to both teams for sharing knowledge and for all discussions, and LUNCH 😀
