Nikki Fox BBC Mr Smellie? What’s he say as Norfolk police have been forced to do the same.
Patients or ‘non patients’ are left in limbo. In my case advised to drive 12 miles. Not the Police’ fault but NSFT mental health worker who directs to hospital. Shameful. Lied to police NorfolkSuffolkCrisis The Guardian

This piece is by the crime correspondent because the report covers all deaths in custody - but, unlike deaths in prisons, police custody, & immigration detention, there is no requirement for deaths of patients detained under the Act to be independently investigated

Thank you to those who came forward with your stories - its the patients and families behind these figures that really hit home

Lisa Morrison No outrage because whole system is complicit and no one takes responsibility for deaths/unreliable data. Why is last year is 1st year this data collected? Does anyone know what figure is if all mental health patient deaths are included? How many trusts like NSFT have lost count?

It hasn’t even had media coverage or any outcry from those in leadership. How does anything change if we can’t first accept & apologise for mistakes made? Building a safer future where those suffering emotional distress have equal rights, begins with humility; transparency, now!

'The play encompasses both everyday joy and the most awful kind of sadness: some of it is about life at its most intense, but its defining event is a senseless and unimaginably tragic death. It also pulls off the rare achievement of being political but also full of human

Eastern Daily Press This response beggars belief. NSFT actually did try and delete a whole CAMHS waiting list (300+) overnight in 2020. And here we are in 2024.

Eastern Daily Press This response typifies the incongruence between the reality and the improvement journey rubbish. Now they have ‘positivity about where we are heading’. No one trying to access a service and waiting a long time for assessment and treatment is feeling the ‘energy’ or ‘positivity’.

Would someone like to tell latest NSFT mental health spokesperson to be careful what they say? The trust have in fact tried to delete a whole waiting list overnight before. And these ‘lists’ are people needing help not pesky people demanding unreasonable support. edp24.co.uk/news/local-cou…
