One more thing to note: the Greens won the popular vote in #Worcester - 18,328 compared to 16,446 for Labour. That’s the story of this election - as well as an historic Conservative collapse. Next question: what do those Green voters do in a GE?

I’ve had periods of poor mental health in my life & believe that the earlier the intervention, the quicker we can recover. Mental Health has always been an inadequately funded Cinderella service. The problem does not sit with us, the problem is a dysfunctional health system.

Today, the government is publishing a consultation on the future of PIP.

🗣️ Almost two thirds of people in destitution have a chronic health condition or disability. People in this position shouldn't be used as a political football. We need action, not rhetoric from politicians.

People don't choose to be on disability benefits. It's their last resort.

Stop blaming people with mental health problems. If the Secretary of State wants a grown-up conversation about this, then he should meet with us.
