'No it's not better now. Why do people think this?? It's children raising children.'

Early boarding is not good for children's development.
It's still legal though. We are happy, as a society, to allow this means of harming children to continue -- and for institutions to make money off that harm.

Alice Miller's The Drama of the Gifted Child has got to be one of the most recommended therapy books, in my experience after 20+ years in the field. And it's a compelling and eye-opening book. I read it at some point and found it useful.
