Disability Footballers meet Manchester United youngster! Our Nostell, Pontefract and Selby players met Sam Murray who came to cheer us on at the West Riding Ability Counts League games yesterday! Our coach James even roped him into refereeing one of our fixtures. West Riding FA

Great fun at tonight’s women’s walking football session. We enjoyed it that much, James and Blossom Training & Development duo Madeleine and Shannon are going to run another one in June.

Fantastic turnout with Selby Disability Football Club this evening.

James represented NLY at the Wakefield Community Learning Disability Team event at The Hut. The event was one of two held during Learning Disability week.

What a night for Terry! As well as seeing an great performance from his side, Terry was presented with two packets of the Mr Kipling Viennese Whirls! One was from Nostell Miners Welfare FC boss Matt Wright. The other from Greg Smith from the NLY Community Sport Nostell Disability Football team

James and Elliott delivered boccia, curling and bean bag throwing games to Stacey Priestley’s amazing Friends for Everyone at Rycroft Leisure today! What an incredible event, 30 plus adults with disabilities and learning difficulties taking part in the Olympics-themed event!

NLY’s Seventh Birthday / James to receive an Award! We see this as an award for both Connor and James but James is to be presented with a highly commended award for our Disability Football work at the West Riding FA Grassroots Awards Night in October.

James collected his West Riding County FA Highly Commended award for Disability Football this evening at a ceremony at Huddersfield Town.

Connor and James deliver presentation at Barnsley College Connor and James spent this morning at Barnsley College delivering a presentation on NLY to sport students as part of their industry week. Connor and James are pictured with Enterprise Team Leader Lee Perks.

The Christmas Party in South Elmsall was a big success. Over 20 adults with disabilities and learning difficulties attended and had a great time. Singer Libby Cooper was amazing! Huge thanks go to Marie and Diane for playing a massive role in ensuring the party was a success.

Firefighters Visit South Elmsall Session! The last South Elmsall session before Christmas saw us get visited by special guests in firefighters from South Kirkby Fire Station! Everyone was thrilled to see them and they even had a game of rounders with us!
