Our State Director Antoinette Miles in The Nation on the imminent collapse of the county line in NJ politics:
'The political winds are behind us to keep propelling this movement forward. The movement to abolish the line has already won in so many senses.' thenation.com/article/politiโฆ
MAJOR: A federal appeals court just denied an attempt by county clerks to stop a lower court ruling eliminating the county line in the June Democratic primary.
The legal fight isn't over, but we're one step closer to democracy in NJ. #AbolishtheLine
It was, always has been, and still is #AbolishtheLine .

'This ruling demonstrates the power of organizing, as people across the state mobilized to fight for change once they realized the pernicious effects NJ's broken ballot design system has on our democracy.'

Congrats to NJ Working Families Party, which brought the first lawsuit to #AbolishTheLine in NJ and established many of the arguments and factual record that prevailed in court today!
This is only the beginning.

WE DID IT! A PEOPLE'S VICTORY. May this be a rebirth for democracy in NJ. It is a GOOD Friday!
Let's be clear. Should a 3rd Circuit appeal be filed, the Defendant Clerks, nonpartisan election administrators - will be using taxpayer $$$ to prevent a fair election. #AbolishTheLine
Itโs a new day in the history of NJ politics. And we did it together!
This is only the beginning, and now the sky's the limit. #LineAbolished
