We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Rep. Donald Payne, Jr.

Whether it was supporting Amazon workers or rail workers, Payne was there. He was a steadfast voice for working families and leaves behind a legacy of fighting for policies to uplift his community. 1/

Remember when the business lobby said the sky would fall with a $15 min. wage? What about earned sick days? Or the corporate surcharge?

All they want is to maximize profits and pay as little as possible in wages and taxes.

It’s pure self interest and ideology.
