The Pharmacy Awards finished with the Director of Pharmacy award. Always a well kept secret. This year the winner was Manpreet Narwan from the community pharmacy development team. Mani has done some great work on diversity and communication with our community pharmacies

Pharmacy Award for Innovation of the Year winner was the Surgical Team at the QEUH. This team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have developed several new ways of working to benefit patients. Well done!

Pharmacy awards leader of the year winner was Michelle Stevenson, Pharmacy technician at the Pharmacy Distribution Centre but known to many across Pharmacy Services.

Pharmacy awards winner of the Employee of the year was Susan Donnelly. She runs the show at Clarkston Court but also has reach much wider and helps so many of the team with great patience. She was taking some well deserved leave and avoided the photoshoot though

Hard to follow (Dr) Cor Hutton 😏 but on to the awards. Team of the year winner was NorthEast Health and Social Care Partnership Parkhead Cluster Pharmacy Team. Congratulations to all of them. Lovely to see you all at the awards.

In a new format we were honored to have (Dr) Cor Hutton 😏 speak to us. She set up the charity Finding Your Feet Amputee Charity after becoming quadriplegic due to sepsis. The room was inspired, amazed and emotional all at the one time. Thank you for being so generous with your time and story

Yesterday saw Gail Caldwell host the Pharmacy Services staff awards. What a session it was. None of the social media team could live tweet as they were transfixed by the session. Next few tweets will tell you why.
