Tees Rivers Trust were at North Gare last week planting seagrass. They're aiming to restore it to the Tees Estuary & surrounding coastline. Its a key part of carbon capture and makes a fantastic habitat.

Over the Easter holidays one of our volunteers Mike was at North Gare helping to keep our beach clean for our visitors and wildlife. Here he is being helped by kind members of public who wanted to help. Thanks everyone!

The Seaton Carew Sea Swimmers from Hartlepool recently joined us at the Seal Sands to learn about the history of our seals at the Seal Sands. We were joined by the BDMLR Area Coordinator who also shared great facts on our colony of Common and Grey Seals. bdmlr.org.uk/what-to-do-if
