Fees and enrollment eligibility/caps have always been a barrier that our newcomer youth have been facing over the years in pursuing their educational pathways. Happy to hear that this summer those barriers will be lifted for Grades 9-12 students in Manitoba.

In 2018, only 3 out of 54 school trustees in the 6 Wpg school divisions were persons from racialized communities. The decision-making process is flawed when voices are missing when program deliberation & policy decisions are made. This is the #StateOfEquityInEducation
