Today Chaplain Debs attended the Chrism Eucharist service at Newcastle Cathedral with Newcastle Diocese (CofE) and collected our new oils. Meanwhile at Newcastle Hospitals we’ve been taking communion to patients at RVI and Freeman and delivering Easter cards ready for the weekend

Our thanks to Kathy from the Bereavement team for using her skills to make this beautiful display of flowers for both of our chapels to help us mark Easter. Our Easter card reflections have been greatly appreciated by our patients - copies still available.

Yesterday Emma and Debs had the joy of visiting Free Spirits Nursery to talk to the Daffodil and Tulip classes about the Easter Story. They did a great job with our Easter egg hunt, and listed so well to the story. 🌷 🌼 what a lovely afternoon.

The chaplaincy team has produced a resource for VE Day on Thursday - an opportunity to remember and pray for peace. They can be collected from our chapels and offices this week.
