Joseph took part in a triathlon at Cholmondeley Castle. He was exceptionally brave to take on the 200 meter lake swim, 5km bike and 1.5km run having just turned 9. This was Joseph’s first open water triathlon and he can’t wait to try another. 👏

Community Action club have been busy encouraging the members of our school community to recycle properly 💚 Myddelton College

🦅 OSPREYS 🦅 Upper Prep enjoyed learning about the Osprey project at Llyn Brenig on Friday. Two eggs have hatched and it was fascinating to learn about the birds and watch them on the live cam thanks to The Wildlife Trusts 🤩 We were so proud of our pupils’ subject knowledge!

💧 WATER TREATMENT CENTRE 💧 Upper Prep also visited Llyn Alwen’s Water Treatment Centre, where they learned about the process that our water goes through before it comes out of our taps 🚿 It has made us appreciate each glass of water we have! Welsh Water Myddelton College

Thea in Lower Prep has succeeded in her challenge to complete 100 skips a day in June, and raised a wonderful £150 for Cancer Research UK in Wales while doing so 🤩 Well done, Thea 👯

⛷️ SKIING 🎿 Congratulations to our skiers who attended the British Schools Indoor Ski and Board Championships 2024! The team came an incredible 5th place in the mixed team rankings 👏 A huge thank you to Cameron in the senior school who came early to coach our younger skiers

🏃‍♂️ Pupils had great fun taking in the awesome views during the last running club session of the school year 🏃‍♀️ Myddelton College

Pre-Prep learnt about the invention of ear muffs and conducted our own investigation using different materials to see which would keep the water the warmest. We measured the temperature of the water after 5 minutes using a thermometer. 🌡️ Myddelton College
