Allah WILL answer your duas. And when he does... ...he will answer them in ways you could NEVER even imagine. He will blow you away with the perfection of HIS plans. And will leave you utterly speechless in the way He allows things to fall perfectly into place. Just be patient!

On Sunday, my 22 year old cousin woke up next to his wife and moments later took his last breath in his father's arms. He left behind his wife and 1 year old son, Idrees. He had no medical history. His time came and he returned to his creator.

This morning for a call with fellows and editors at Muslim Youth Musings, one sister shared how in her college in Nigeria, an authority came in and took the hijab off her head. He apparently disapproved of her covering her neck and only allowed 'turban' styled hijabs.

Someone must do a study on this but I really believe studying fiction and pondering on it can help you reflect on the Quran better as well. Thinking about the complex emotional webs and existential nodes that bind society make verses much more striking and revelatory to you.
