I wish I didn't care about H&M media coverage, but I kind of do. it's about institutionalised racism, mental health and the hideous British media. I'd quite like to not be affected by it, but today it's making me sad for them, and us.

This is so important. So many assumptions are made about older people getting online, and assume it is just about access to a device and a quick 'how to' phone call. It isn't, it's much more than that.

Recovering the grass roots community activity and informal social connections lost over the last year will be crucial. Locally, lots of it was delivered by older volunteers, I'm worried about how much has been lost, how long it will take to get back and how we can fill the gaps

Such important learning. We need to challenge assumptions that asset based approaches, if not carefully designed, can further marginalise people. There is no one way or method of working with or in communities.

Sadly this is a typically reactionary establishment approach. I miss the days of nuance and wisdom when the causes of antisocial behaviour, like poverty, closing of services such as youth clubs, increase of school exclusions, and cuts to CAMHS were addressed by The Labour Party
