We aren’t horsing around 🐴Our deputies really responded to a call where a car hit a horse in Troutdale. Deputies had a veterinarian provide care and shared snacks with the steed. The horse headed to the vet for additional TLC and animal control is following up with the owner.

Yesterday East Precinct ran a retail theft mission with Multnomah Co. Sheriff’s Office at Mall 205, Gateway, and 122nd Ave. We recovered $2,900 in stolen items and 24 people were arrested. TRAFFIC ALERT: S.E. Woodard Road between the Historic Columbia River Highway and N.E. Seidl Road is closed due to a sinkhole in the road. Maintenance crews are currently working on repairs to the road. The road is expected to reopen tomorrow evening.

Online enticement involves an individual communicating with someone believed to be a child via the internet with the intent to commit a sexual offense or abduction. This is a broad category of online exploitation in which a child is being groomed for sexual purposes.
