Today we practiced definite & indefinite articles with a self-checking mystery photo. Each time students put in the correct article for a noun, the image fills a little! If the image doesn’t fill, they know that they have to look at their answer again. They loved it! Islip Middle School

Today I challenged students to complete a puzzle using family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 vocab words! Each group had to match Spanish/Italian words with their definitions. All sides of each card had to match up or the puzzle wouldn’t fit. Listen to them work together! They rocked it! #isliprising

On Fri. we practiced spelling with the 🇮🇹&🇪🇸 alphabets! Students picked words they saw in the room & spelled them to their partner. They checked to see if they wrote the correct word after. Activities like this help them learn content & build communication skills🗣👂🏼#isliprising

On Monday Italian Club played a game where each student got to unravel a saran wrap ball with prizes! If they got an Italian flag during their turn, they had to answer a trivia question about Italy. A correct answer gave them more time to roll, and a wrong answer ended their turn
