আমাৰ ইতিহাসত অসম আন্দোলনৰ এক বিশেষ স্থান আছে। আজি শ্বহীদ দিৱসৰ দিনা এই আন্দোলনত অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰা সকলোৰে বীৰত্বপূৰ্ণ সাহসৰ কথা সোঁৱৰণ কৰিছো। অসমৰ অনন্য সংস্কৃতি ৰক্ষাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত তেওঁলোকৰ অৱদান আমি কেতিয়াও পাহৰিব নোৱাৰোঁ।

ঐতিহাসিক অসম আন্দোলন- অসমীয়া জাতিৰ অস্তিত্ব ৰক্ষাৰ আন্দোলনৰ লগতে ভাৰতৰ একতা, অখণ্ডতাৰ সুৰক্ষাৰো আন্দোলন আছিল। ছয়বছৰীয়া সেই গণজাগৰণৰ মহান শ্বহীদ তথা সংগ্ৰামী খিলঞ্জীয়া জনতাৰ ত্যাগ আৰু সাহসৰ প্ৰতি শ্ৰদ্ধা জনাই আপুনি যি সন্মান দিলে, তাৰ বাবে অসমবাসী আপোনাৰ ওচৰত কৃতজ্ঞ।
