And at the blink of an eye, winter break has nearly come to an end. Time to head back home, back to Oman. 🇴🇲

A 4-day school week for students is perfect for ALL involved. TEACHERS can use the 5th day to catch up with their insane workload! STUDENTS can catch up & participate in ANY off-campus, extra curriculars they’re interested in without the wildness of a minute-to-minute schedule.

I’ve been so exhausted with our workload. The problem is that leadership think it’s not “too much” to give us paperwork that is completely unnecessary but it eats into our planning and collaborative time. Sigh.

I’m using this incredible book as one of my mentor texts for my UOI : HWOO: communications connects people and communities. My boys are going to make their own version of this book. They’ll do the illustrations but also choose a color and use their other 4 senses to describe it.

Students going to our Inquiry board to look at the learner profiles to add to their projects on communication. I’m amazed at how much they use the board to connect to their learning. #pyp #pypchat.
