Turns out life 100 years ago really wasn’t as fun as nowadays!

Primary 2 enjoyed some playground games from 100 years ago! We sang Dusty Bells and had fun playing What’s the time Mr Wolf?

Primary 2 had lots of fun today at our 1920s themed tea party! We served our homemade bread and butter, cakes and juice. We even had some extra guests who enjoyed the sweet treats!

Primary 2 had a fun afternoon in Outdoor Learning yesterday. They had to work out how to cross the playground without touching the ground and only using four planks! It was great to see the problem solving, team working and communication in action!

Today Primary 2 had an extra special teacher today for their RME lesson. H told us all about his religion and how him and his family celebrate Ramadan and Eid. We learned about fasting, doing charity work and preparing for the big Eid celebration. Happy Eid to all celebrating!

P7A worked hard during their STEM session to create the tallest tower they could using only a newspaper, scissors and sellotape. 🗼✂️. The results were very creative. Great teamwork and STEM skills were evident throughout. 🤩. Primary 7B Primary 7

P7 had a great morning at Risk Factory in Edinburgh! They took part in a variety of real life scenarios to learn about different risks, how to stay safe and make sensible decisions. They all listened well and had lots of fun! 🚑🚒🔥⚠️ Primary 7B Primary 7

Primary 7A took advantage of the nice weather yesterday afternoon and took their novels outside to read! It was lovely to feel some winter sun.🌞 📚 Primary 7

This afternoon Primary 1 and Primary 7 buddies worked together to create a Valentine’s Day craft. 💗💓Primary 7 Primary 7B Primary 2

Wishing everyone back home a good night 😴. All settled into our rooms and excited for our adventures tomorrow. 🤩. We will be dreaming of raft building, challenge course, giant swing and climbing! 🛶🧗 Primary 7B Primary 7

Group 2 have had a fantastic first morning on camp! After a yummy breakfast, we had lots of fun Raft Building! There were a few men overboard as the rafts took to the lake! After we dried off, we hit the obstacle course! 🛶 Primary 7B Primary 7

This afternoon Group 2 faced their fear of heights and tackled the Zipwire AND the Abseil Tower! 🧗‍♀️ we even had a dance competition on the way down! 🕺Primary 7B Primary 7 #pgl

Day 4 of camp and we have a few wee tired faces (and legs) today but we powered through! Home tomorrow! 🏡

Last night for P7 at Newby Wiske Hall - A game of disc golf. Unfortunately the wind put paid to any accuracy. It was very frustrating but we still had fun. 💨🥏🗑️😃🪃 A big thank you to Emily, our groupie, for a fantastic week. 🤩 Primary 7B Primary 7 #pglnewbywiskehall
