Wow! We were all blown away with the quality of our House Captain presentations this year. Our pupils had a tough time choosing who to vote for but the votes are in and counted! Bring on Friday when our 24-25 HCs are announced 🥳

P7 have been researching what type of job they would like to do when they are older. They had to find out what qualifications and skills they needed to do this job. We had a varied selection of careers. 👨‍🍳👩‍🔬🧑‍💻👷‍♀️Primary 7B

Primary 7 enjoyed taking part in the board game challenge. They had to design and create an engaging board game. 🎲Primary 7A

Primary 6 are learning about place value in their Numeracy lessons. Today they enjoyed using place value counters to create 4, 5 and 6 digit numbers. P6B

Primary 2/3 have been drawing their own Punch and Judy characters and transforming them into stick puppets. Miss R

Our Eco Committee from last year had a great time harvesting our potatoes and onions! Well done everyone -not bad for our first full crop🥔🧅! We look forward to enjoying some baked potatoes and hopefully some soup! Our rhubarb is also growing quickly! Carmondean Eco 💚

Primary 5A have been busy gardening as part of our Outdoor learning. We are looking forward to taking responsibility for lots of gardening areas in the school grounds. 😀🪴👩‍🌾👨‍🌾Primary 5A

P7 were excellent PE teachers when they were teaching their P1 buddy how to throw and catch a ball with 2 hands. Lots of fun was had by all 🤩Primary 7B

Primary 2 have enjoyed a Building Thinking Classroom challenge today. We used the ‘talking pen’ to ensure everyone got to share their thoughts.

Today we launched our Meta-Skills Masterclass pilot. The masterclasses were chosen by the children and then each child from P1-P7 got to choose which masterclass they go to for the 4 week block. Planning is led by the children and linked to Meta-Skills 🧠💭

P7 tried to draw and name as many 2D shapes as they could. The record was 12! They then used the shapes to draw pictures. Lovely chalky fun outside. 😁🎨 Primary 7B

P7 have been learning all about shapes. They enjoyed drawing and naming as many as they could. Then they had to create pictures using these shapes!

Today P3 & P2/3 went on a sound walk. We used beaters to make different sounds and described them. "Bang" "Jingle" "Clanging" and "Puffing" were some of the excellent adjectives we came up with. Not even the rain could stop us! 🌧 Primary 3 Miss R #learningoutdoors
