This is a big project with lots of moving parts, but such a rewarding and fun filled day!! Thank you to our guest speaker, Karson Sasse. Diagnosed at age 4, he walks the juvenile diabetes walk every day!! Also, thanks to his FCCLA advisor, Amy Terrill, for driving him here.

Yesterday’s lab: a “no fail” fave gets us started in the kitchens!! Peanut Butter (or SunButter) Cornflakes Cookies never disappoint! This lab helps us find out more about our lab materials, learn the skill of boiling, practice liquid and dry measuring, and enjoy our class. 👨‍🍳
