I love to learn about different cultures and traditions. This month the families in our classroom are teaching us about a winter tradition they have with their families. We kicked it off with a family that decorates gingerbread men every year! Thanks for sharing with us.

First graders this year were in school on 2-2-22 and 2-22-22. They will be seniors in high school on 3-3-33. We created a time capsule to open on this date! Can’t wait to hear from them when they’re seniors and open it up!

Last week, Girl Scouts of the USA posthumously bestowed upon Amerie Jo Garza, 10, of Uvalde, Texas, one of the highest honors in Girl Scouting: the Bronze Cross. The Bronze Cross is awarded for saving or attempting to save life at the risk of the Girl Scout’s own life. 1/3
