Our First Graders had a blast today releasing their ladybugs! “They tickled when they crawled up our arms!” East Haven Academy

Congratulations to Mr. Giannios and our very talented Band and Chorus members, who brought home two “Excellent” awards for their performances today at the High Note Festival at Lake Compounce! We are so very proud of our talented singers and musicians! East Haven Academy

6th grade had a great time at the Eli Whitney Museum today! Students made their own Egyptian diorama after studying about the ancient Egyptian civilization. It was a great time and they did a wonderful job! East Haven Academy

7th Graders completed a mini-STEM project called “Spaghetti Tower.” While working in teams, students used clay and spaghetti to see who could make the strongest and tallest structure using the least amount of materials. East Haven Academy

It makes me sad when a teacher assistant says “I’m just a para” when they introduce themselves to me…we CANNOT do our jobs without support staff. They are the backbones of our schools. No one is “just” anything on your staff. Make sure your support staff feel encouraged & loved.
