Another night of watching two of my dogs hyperventilating & physically shaking for hours on end due to the fireworks. You’d think that as a nation of dog lovers, we wouldn’t put our pets through this year after year. And that’s without the thought of what it does to wildlife!

I’ve never been in a war zone but I imagine this is what it sounds like. For me it’s just irritating, for veterans with PTSD it’s deeply disturbing, for wildlife & pets it’s absolutely terrifying. The fact people find this entertaining is pathetic and selfish in equal measure.
