My students were struggling with the concept of colonisation and settlement today. So I showed them a clip of Pocahontas. Worked a treat! #edutwitter

*Daily Tip* Take time this half term to reflect on just how far you have come. Remember you are at the start of your journey, no one is expecting you to be the perfect teacher (I'm not sure anyone is) so don't expect it from yourself. #YouGotThis

Trying to decide whether to work today…🤔 Do I take time to rest but feel guilty for every second, or do I work and feel ripped off by the weekend…decision, decision…#edutwitter

Submitted a PhD application on Wednesday night, and the references have already been requested. My school contract has been extended. I celebrated by buying yummy food, but being too tired to cook it 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I am thinking of doing a Lead Practitioner course (paying for it personally). A LP mentioned that it’s usually a title invited by the school, but mentioned it’s still worth doing. Has anyone else done it of their own accord? @LeadPract
