We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Lance Cpl. Austin Schwenk. Austin was a 2022 RHS graduate who was serving in the military. He was a tremendous young man who will be greatly missed by so many. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Austin’s family and friends.

I loved covering Riverside and Twinsburg. two great teams and communities who showed up for a big time game. I do want to give a special shout out to Janeese Mackey and Mrs. Kylie McKnight who are parents of Jason Mackey and Brady McKnight. Great moms and members of Riverside community.

. Riverside Football will depart for Twinsburg at 4:30 pm today to play Akron Archbishop Hoban in the Regional Semifinals. We encourage any members of the public to line the driveway near the RHS football stadium around 4:15 pm to cheer on the Beavers as they leave. #WeAreRiverside

At tonight’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board recognized Parkside Elementary students for their success running the Parkside Peddler, which is a school supply store. Students were also celebrated for their growth mindset and positive attitude! #WeAreRiverside
