Our ROAR block was high engagement today as we dove into two separate nonfiction texts on the history of gum. One was on Wonderopolis, one of our favorite sites! Building stronger readers and writers every day! Linden Elementary

Students taking ownership of their assessments: choosing to show the differences between Patriots and Loyalists in the form of a sort, a collage, or a poster. Then we will self assess and share with classmates to demonstrate our understanding! Linden Elementary

Year 1 Resident Educators Linden Elementary completed their 2nd task-Formative & Summative Assessments today, acing a matching activity. Research by John Hattie says formative assessment can double student learning speed by enabling real-time instructional adjustments. Julie Arnold


3rd graders Linden Elementary had the opportunity to go see “A Pirate-y Peter Pan” at the Fitton Center today! Afterwards, they worked hard at making connections between the play, book, and movie. We are so proud of their hard work in this EL Education module! Julie Arnold
