Thank you to Ridgeway Stars for inviting me to see your amazing 6th Grade projects! These students read “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” and were inspired to solve issues in their school. They worked hard to research solutions! They will do BIG things! EL Education
Meet King Julian/Oreo. This lemur is the class mascot for 5th grade students in Ms. Scott’s room throughout their study of the rainforest. His student-created accessories (and throne) are top-notch.

I was thrilled to be invited to the rainforest Crawford Woods Elementary! The 5th graders are comparing and contrasting texts about the rainforest in their EL module. They also studied the vocabulary word “biomass”. They compared the biomass of Hamilton to the biomass of the rain forest.
