Delighted to be able to share this news at last, and it's wonderful to see momentum grow - since I started in June 2021, UPS has successfully bid for over £2.6m in grants, including the charity’s first five ever awards over £100,000 (including its first award over £1m).

This month I decided to learn the concertina, which first required me to learn to repair a concertina: an 1840s Wheatstone (the man who invented the 1st commercial telegraph also invented the concertina). The stereotype while working in maritime heritage is not lost on me 🙃
