Finally made it to my first fall break!! I am definitely going to need the time off lol

I just did my post conference for my first TEAMS evaluation as a teacher. I got 3’s and higher on every category!!! There were even several 4s and 5s. Glad to see I’m at least “at expectation” as a first year teacher.

Student teaching should be a paid internship that pays based on the cost of living in the area. Point blank period. The school districts should be the ones paying the student teachers as well, not universities.

I can confidently say that I really love my students.

We are wrapping up this last half day before winter by watching the lego movie and eating burgers. Real solid way to end the day :)

Tomorrow and Wednesday are going to be snow days in Metro Nashville!! If I knew I was going to have this much time off, I would have made plans!😅

Man this summer break was MUCH needed after this school year. I love my job and all but I’m ecstatic that I get to reset for a month or two.
