At its May 31, 2024 conference, it looks like Move LA Transit will announce details on a 2026 SoCal ballot initiative to fund cleaner air and combating climate change. In 2023, they said they wanted to fund EV subsidies, electrifying Metrolink and transit.

On May 16th, 1990, California Governor George Deukmejian signed Assembly Bill 1784 into law, laying the groundwork for LACTC and SCRTD to merge and form Metro Los Angeles.
Caltrans kept these El Sereno homes empty for decades over a contentious freeway project that never got built. Now San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is fixing them up for low-income, first-time homebuyers.
