We were on the Broadway Line area and noticed Venus&Mars Clothing was shut. We also lost a bank at Broadway and Ontario. Brenda Bailey Our businesses need help. It is so bad that even a bank cannot weather the Broadway Line construction...how can a small biz survive if a bank can't!!

The Province gives filming 6 types of tax credits. 98% of biz in BC is small biz. The Broadway Subway Project is giving the small biz along Broadway nothing...zero tax credits. The Province clearly knows how to give tax credits to certain industries...just not the Broadway businesses

We are doing a pop up plaza at 26th and Main this weekend....starting today. Come and check it out...music, food and other things. We are "trying it on for size" to see if this is a good spot for another public space in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

What a great turnout at our AGM this evening. Thanks to everyone that came...it was a bit stressful as the power was out all day, and came back on 7 minutes into our meeting...we were prepared with battery packs etc.....and at the end, there was ice cream from Kobo Ice cream!!

We lost faith in the The Broadway Subway Project 4 month closure timeline today...big time. 1 intersection, 8 flaggers, 1 Foreman, and a dump truck that tried and failed to back into the job site for over an hour before they sent him away. Does Vegas have an over / under on the 4 months?
