In this joint study with Pascal Schlechter & Jens Hellmann we introduce a new measure of the discrepancy between the actual & ideal (& ought) self & conclude: self-discrepancy is related to lower well-being; this is then moderated by an avoidant affective style. Great work, Pascal!
