This week is National Engineers Week, which has a focus on Imagining Tomorrow. My cohort of Lilly Leadership Institute is also focusing on something similar, with our Envision 2040 project. There is nothing better than preparing for a better and brighter future! #ENVISION2040

I have listened to the interview with Nora Husani and a Cohort 9 member. I really enjoyed the conversation. I learned some awesome tips about embracing the things I will learn about while at Lockheed Martin Leadership Institute and at Miami.

While watching the interview with Ndeye Guisse, I really like how she talked about teamwork vs group work. She gave some useful tips on how that can affect medical students but her example is great for anyone.

As a computer science, I really like hearing about the work Jean Paul Mugizi did with President Obama with civic tech. It shows me as computer science that I could do more than programming.

I have really gained a lot of useful tips and information while listening to the interview with Matt Depero but my favorite part is when he touched base on the importance of having a mentor and seeking help from people you trust and that believe in you and your journey.

One valuable thing that I have gained from listening to Dharini Parthasarathy's interview is when she started to talk about her cohort project helped her gain ownership. The support and empower she experienced with the project helped her through her career.
