Limited Spaces

Dosbarth Maple had a brilliant afternoon visiting our local library. We enjoyed a story, sang songs and got to explore the lovely children’s books.

Elm class really enjoy their trip to the Star Hub Library. They got to sing some songs, listen to a traditional tale and look at the books in the childrens section.

Year 5 have been experimenting! They looked at lots of different solids, liquids and gases and found out what happened when you heated, cooled or mixed them. They will share what they found out with the other groups. #communicator

More experiments in blwyddyn pump! We looked at reversible and irreversible changes by dissolving solids in liquids, making butter and timing how long it takes to melt ice! #wearecommunicators

Birch class have been good “thinkers” and “self managers” this week! They thought really hard about what to make for someone in our school community! They had to find the resources too! I think they made everyone smile! 😄

Chestnut Class have been working hard to create something for someone in our school community. They were really good ‘thinkers’, coming up with some lovely ideas. It made everyone very happy 😀

In Dosbarth Hazel we have begun our inquiry by creating self-portraits. We looked in the mirror to help us to carefully create our skin tone and draw our features. We have been great communicators whilst working, sharing our thoughts and ideas.

Thank you to Cardiff University Drama Society for putting on a drama workshop for the year 2 children. They had an amazing time and got to learn some techniques to help them with their expressive arts inquiry.
