Check out our recent paper from the Mohanylab on the spinning dynamics of self-excited azimuthal #acoustic modes in cavities. This is an issue in combustors and pipelines that could lead to their #failure. The paper is published in Physics of Fluids. pubs.aip.org/aip/pof/articl…

It was a pleasure to welcome Jeffrey Bradfute from Westinghouse Americas to the Fluid-Structure Interactions Lab Ontario Tech University. We provided an overview of our recent research & had a productive discussion about nuclear fuel bundles, focusing on their sustainability & safety.
