Wow! In a Universities UK & UCEA press conference, vice chancellors compared staff working from home during the pandemic with taking strike action "We have been able to cope with 0% of staff coming on campus [during covid], so I am sure we can cope with this” Disgraceful

Just got the weekly email of current vacancies at Birkbeck. 33 vacancies. 32 are fixed-term. 😠 Management are 'disappointed' in the results of our industrial action ballot. We're disappointed in the lack of job security for our current and future members. #OneOfUsAllOfUs

Solidarity to Royal College of Art UCU ✊ now in their 4th week of strike action! @pwthompson_RCA refuses to discuss measures to control workload & has implemented the worst casualised contracts in the sector. No wonder 86% of staff voted no confidence in him. Royal College of Art needs to listen up & change now!
