Started the day attending @WillandraMerinos ram sale with poll prices averaging $3,170 and top price of $20k. Now spending the evening at the Resilient Farm Business seminar with good discussion around future farming strategies and viability, including “The Unbreakable Farmer”.

After 18 months, today was my last day on the ANZ Agri Graduate Program. I want to thank everyone that has put their time into my development and given me the opportunity to experience different parts of regional Australia. Looking forward to my new role with ANZ in Shepparton!

A fantastic morning spent at Dookie Rec Reserve for ANZ’s “Farm Business Strategies and Insights” event, covering some relevant topics such as decision making processes, commodity and land prices, and generational transfer. Great to be able to hold events like this after so long.

Thanks to Aus Dairy Conference who hosted ~600 delegates in Hobart. With Australia’s milk production continuing to decline, discussions were focussed on opportunities for dairy farmers (price, demand and asset value), succession, mindset, business growth and industry advocacy #adc2023

A great night in Yarrawonga attending the Youth in Ag dinner, ran by Riverine Plains. A fantastic opportunity to meet local young farmers, Ag students, and industry members, all with a clear excitement to be involved in the agricultural sector for the long term.

Escaped the cold in Sporties Barooga for the Agri Insights and AgTech update, covering the 5 C’s impacting Ag (climate, Covid, conflict, China and ChatGPT). Also heard from Farmbot, RSM and RDA Murray on using R&D and tech to improve farming businesses. anz.com.au/content/dam/an…
