The Bull, Church Road, Mitcham, was locally listed, but this didn't mean that the tiling, pilasters, stained glass windows at the front were protected.

At the very last minute we have been told by Merton Council that the last remaining bronze sword on Mitcham War Memorial is being removed today so replicas can be prepared as part of the long awaited restoration of this listed monument
Thanks to the efforts of London Fire Brigade ❤️who are still on site 15 hours after the 999 call, a lot of the medieval parts of the Burn Bullock look to have been saved. Our pavilion is safe but will remain closed today.
