In a small ceremony outside of Public Works, the City of Mission gathered this morning to remember workers who lost their lives or have been injured on the job and to reaffirm the City’s commitment to health and safety. The Day of Mourning takes place every year on April 28.

It's that time of year again! Residents receiving curbside collection service may set out up to two cubic metres of additional garbage or bulky items during spring clean-up, only on their one regular garbage collection day between April 29th - May 10th, 2024.

Due to some pump testing in the regional system earlier today, some residents have reported that they are experiencing murky water.

If this is happening to you, run your taps until the water runs clear. Staff are currently flushing the system to get through the system faster.
