Congratulations to these students who ended the semester by completing reading challenges. For November, 23 students read a book from a genre they don’t normally choose! For December, 20 students read a novel written in verse! #M9RoundingUpTheBest

We did a lot of reading in English I this semester! Each month, students were given an optional reading challenge. I’m so proud of the 44 students who completed at least one challenge and the 9 students who completed all five! Students read 111+ books to reach this goal!

Happy to have Kathy O'Keefe and her organization, Winning the Fight, at Marcus High School on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Winning the Fight provides drug education, support, and necessary resources to youth and families that suffer from the disease of addiction.
