This week has been tough! It has been almost a week since we returned from our wonderful school trip to Disney and I still feel exhausted. How lovely it was to take our amazing Year 8s to such a magical place. They were superstars! ⭐️

Miss G Price and I have been busy today starting the sorting and organising process of the books we have gathered, bought and accumulated so far this year. We are very much looking forward to appointing our pupil librarians in the new year to help with looking after the books 📚

Miss Price and I have had a busy few days organising our own mini library in the English Department! It was quite a task removing every book and categorising it by genre but it was so very worth it. We can’t wait for our learners to make good use of this over the coming terms ☺️

Being stuck in bed with this Christmas flu was not at the top of my Christmas list, but these books absolutely were! Tucked up for some end of year reading. 📚📖✨

8Y’s Fairground Extravaganza 🎠🎡!Taking place on Monday, and run by my wonderful form class. Lots of fairground games, great prizes and plenty of fun! We are raising money for the Children’s Leukaemia Society ☺️❤️

Had an excellent day at the Design Museum in London last week visiting The Offbeat Sari and Ai Weiwei exhibitions. It was so wonderful to see some of our students sketching away after being inspired by the art they had seen!

Last night, the English Department enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate our wonderful HoD’s retirement! ❤️☕️🍰 We will all miss her so much!

A wonderful day had by all at CrickFest. So lovely seeing all the pupils and staff enjoying the activities. A huge thank you to all the staff who organised today, we couldn’t do it without you ❤️ I now know that if teaching fails I’ve got a career as a red coat 🕺🏼

A Monday full of Macbeth and Moomin! It was truly a pleasure to visit THE Globe Theatre to see Macbeth with Year 10. An incredible performance indeed. Big shoutout to my year 10 girls for directing me to the Moomin shop in Covent Garden. Ended up with some matching merch!
