Walk, Bike & Roll to School to school day has been a success thanks to our amazing Miner Elementary community (including our new Interim Principal Ms. White) and the awesome work of Ward 6 Public Schools Parent Organization (particularly Suzanne Wells and Sandra Moscoso). Happy #nursesappreciationday to our very own Nurse Gray & all the school nurses out there working so hard to keep our students safe. Your work has been so critical, particularly this year as we have returned to school during a pandemic, & we want you to know how grateful we are!

Trilby Hillenbrand empowers each K-5 student she teaches to view themselves not just as learners, but as engineers, inventors & scientists! Students look forward to her hands-on lessons, whether building robots or trying to stump her science knowledge. #TeacherAppreciationWeek

Attention Miner Elementary (and all DC Public Schools) families: OSTP DCPS aftercare enrollment will open at noon on Monday, June 6. For more information on aftercare, visit dcps.dc.gov/afterschool

You must be enrolled in school for at least 48 hours before you will be able to enroll in aftercare. If you have not completed your school enrollment or have outstanding forms such as proof of residency, please submit by June 3 to ensure you can enroll in aftercare.
